We are recruiting on behalf of one of our well-established and friendly logistic clients based in Runcorn.

CareerLink are searching for a highly reliable and organised individual to undertake the role of a Gatehouse Operative.

The successful individual will be required to greet tuck drivers in a warm and friendly manner whilst exchanging details from the driver and inputting into a Microsoft Excel system.

This role will require you to work 4 on and 4 off.

The hours of work will be 6am - 6pm and the pay rate will be £12.00 per hour.

Main Duties;

• Greeting drivers in a warm and friendly manner when they are arriving and leaving site.
• Exchanging must needed details from the truck driver and then inputting the details into a Microsoft excel system.
• Opening the gate for drivers to enter and exit site , will include you walking from one side of the booth to the other side.

What we are looking for?

• A friendly individual with a bubbly personality to make the drivers feel welcome.
• Someone who is able to work in a fast paced environment.
• Ideally someone who has knowledge of Microsoft excel (full training is provided)
• Someone who is able to work in a fast-paced environment.
