We are seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling materials, managing stock, and ensuring the smooth operation of warehouse activities. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within a dynamic logistics environment, supporting shipping, receiving, and inventory management processes. All positions are paid, including internship roles, and require a commitment to safety and efficiency.

Working hours: SUNDAY only – 22.00-06.00

Pay rate: £12.27 per hour for the first 12 weeks & £12.89 per hour afterwards

Key responsibilities

Handling materials efficiently, including loading and unloading goods
Operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and effectively
Managing stock levels through accurate picking, packing, and stocking procedures
Using warehouse management systems to track inventory movements and updates
Assisting with shipping and receiving tasks to ensure timely dispatch and receipt of goods
Conducting quality control checks to maintain product standards
Maintaining a clean and organised warehouse environment
Performing mechanical tasks related to warehouse equipment maintenance when necessary
Supporting overall warehouse operations to optimise workflow and productivity

Job requirements

Proven experience in materials handling, stock management, or warehouse operations
Proficiency in operating forklifts; relevant certifications are advantageous
Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory tracking
Strong understanding of shipping & receiving procedures
Ability to perform picking & packing efficiently under time constraints
Experience with stocking products in designated areas accurately
Mechanical knowledge beneficial for basic equipment maintenance
Attention to detail for quality control inspections
Physical capability for heavy lifting and load/unload activities; must be physically fit
Organised with excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively
