Join a Leading Parcel Distribution Company – Customer Service Investigation Team

IMMEDIATE STARTS AVAILABLE.

Location: Smethwick, Birmingham
Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour increasing to £13.27 after 12 weeks
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00–18:30 (staggered start times, 8-hour shifts) occasional weekends on a rota basis.

Key responsibilities

  • Handle inbound and outbound customer calls with professionalism and empathy
  • Investigate and resolve customer issues in a timely and efficient manner
  • Investigate and resolve issues regarding missing / damaged parcels
  • Collaborate with internal departments and depots to ensure resolutions
  • Maintain accurate records using CRM systems such as Salesforce
  • Use Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools confidently
  • Meet and exceed KPI’s / targets

Job requirements

  • Proven experience in handling customer complaints (essential)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Confidence in de-escalating challenging situations
  • Ability to stay calm and focused under pressure
  • Empathetic, patient, and emotionally resilient
  • Proactive and solutions-focused mindset
  • Excellent multitasking and attention to detail
  • A team player who thrives in a dynamic environment
