Product Data Coordinator

Job description

As a Product Data Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of product information across the business. Working closely with Buying, Marketing, Finance, Retail, Operations and Distribution teams, you will coordinate and maintain product data throughout its lifecycle, from initial product setup through to promotions, price changes and end-of-line management.

This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate or someone looking to transition from a retail environment into a head office role. You’ll gain exposure to multiple areas of the business while developing valuable commercial, product and data management skills.

The role is highly administrative, requiring excellent attention to detail, strong organisational skills and confidence working with systems, Excel, Teams and email. Full training will be provided on internal systems and processes.

Key responsibilities

Product Data Management

  • Create, validate and maintain product information within company systems.
  • Ensure product data is accurate and complete throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Manage new product setup and ongoing maintenance of product records.
  • Support the implementation of product launches, updates and end-of-line activity.

Pricing & Promotions

  • Coordinate and implement promotional activity across stores and online channels.
  • Maintain accurate cost and retail pricing information.
  • Process and validate price changes to ensure consistency across all sales channels.
  • Support the timely execution of promotional campaigns.

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Work collaboratively with Buying, Marketing, Finance, Retail Operations, Customer Services, Distribution and other business teams.
  • Respond to and resolve product data queries from internal stakeholders.
  • Coordinate product-related information to support business activities and initiatives.
  • Assist with the setup and maintenance of data for new store openings.

Administration & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Assist with regulatory and compliance-related data requirements where required.
  • Participate in testing and validation activities for system enhancements and improvements.

Job requirements

  • Strong administration and organisational skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook and Teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable managing multiple tasks and changing priorities.
  • Good problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
  • Ability to build effective working relationships across different departments.
  • IT literate with confidence learning new systems and processes.
  • Previous retail experience.
  • Experience in administration, data entry, customer service or office-based roles.
  • Experience working with product information, pricing or stock data.
  • Basic Excel knowledge (training will be provided to develop skills further).
